Singer-songwriter of The Year - Scottish Country Music Awards: 2025
Born in Belfast and now based in Inverness, Scotland, Bannon grew up immersed in country legends such as Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, John Michael Montgomery, and Garth Brooks. These influences are woven into the fabric of his sound, which also nods to the energy of classic rock bands.

Fast becoming a well-known figure in the Scottish country music scene, Bannon won the Singer-songwriter award at the inaugural Scottish Country Music Awards, and has secured several festival bookings throughout Summer 2025.

A seasoned vocalist and performer who has entertained audiences across Scotland and Northern Ireland, Bannon has even appeared on stage in Nashville, Tennessee. He has opened for Nashville singer-songwriter Hannah Anders on several UK dates since 2023, cementing his reputation as a captivating live performer.

Drawing on over two decades of professional performance and a lifetime love of country, Bannon's music pays heartfelt homage to his musical influences and personal experiences. His debut single 'If That Don't Make Me Country' (release in January 2025), reflects his journey from his Irish roots to his rise as a celebrated artist in Scotland.

Bannon is currently preparing for the release of his new single 'The Joker', a country rock tale of poker, passion, and heartbreak, while planning his next trip to Nashville to complete the recording of his debut album.

The new single will be available on all major streaming platforms from August 1st 2025.
